One of the most interesting places to visit is the Pauline Monastery Complex with the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist. The monastery is visited by crowds of pilgrims going to Jasna Góra Monastery. Paulines, apart from their typical church activities, are also famous for their charity work. For this reason, in 1690, the monks established a hospital for the sick and most needy inhabitants of the commune. The present appearance of the church and monastery is due to the systematic renovation of their interior and exterior walls. When visiting this unusual place, it is worth paying attention to the main altar with the Picture of Our Lady of Częstochowa from the 17th century. There are also beautiful murals in the side chapels. We recommend seeing the baroque stoup from the first half of the 18th century. More information.
